Dates and Locations

TIFS 2010 Summer Session will take place from Monday, June 7 through Saturday, June 19 at the Susan M. Frank Center on the campus of Episcopal School of Dallas. We will not meet on Sunday, June 13. Our initial meeting will be held in the atrium of the Center on 4100 Merrell Road in Dallas off Midway Road, between Royal Lane and Walnut Hill Lane.

TIFS Announcement (10/26/09):
The Institute for Strings is pleased to announce that TIFS 2010 will be held at the Episcopal School of Dallas, 4100 Merrell Road, from Monday, June 7, through Saturday, June 19. Further information and admission materials will be available on the website shortly.

 

TIFS is grateful to award-winning luthiers Jeff Phillips and Antoine Nedelec for their generous donation of the viola which won the Certificate of Merit in the 2009 Violin Society of America Competition. Different views of this marvelous instrument are pictured here. Many TIFS students are proud owners of Phillips-Nedelec violins. Thank you Jeff & Antoine!
