In addition to maintaining a private cello studio at his home in Richardson, Mr. Higgins teaches music history and music theory at The University Of Dallas and is the cello instructor at Brookhaven and Richland Colleges.

An active free-lance cellist in the Metroplex, Mr. Higgins has performed with most of the major musical organizations in the area as well as numerous churches and choral societies. He is a founding member of the University of Dallas Faculty Chamber Ensemble as well as Timelessconcerts; a concert series based in Arlington.

Mr. Higgins has had many compositions published for public school orchestras and continues to write arrangements for commercial groups in Texas as well as other states.
